Our Work

Increasing fish passage in the Barwon and Moorabool rivers

We supported Corangamite Catchment Management Authority on a $1.6 million infrastructure project to improve fish passage in the Barwon and Moorabool rivers. We designed the project's governance model, developed a stakeholder engagement plan and led the stakeholder engagement process which resulted in strong buy-in from all key stakeholders. This included facilitating workshops with stakeholder groups to obtain input into the design of engineering options, and developing a suite of communication projects including fact sheets and newsletters to inform stakeholders about the project.

Experience that informs our work

Communiqis is built on extensive experience in government and infrastructure projects. Before establishing Communiqis, our Principal Consultant and Founder Lisa Rankin spent over a decade working across state government, local government and statutory authorties delivering projects and engagement processes. This experience informs how we work today. Lisa was involved in the following projects during her time in the public service.
